Dope Ambition

I love everything about this look, except for this girl’s hair. And that was her own personal choice so I’ll leave it alone. Red and black, when done right, can be ultra-retro-sexy. The red lipstick only adds to the effect. YUMS.

I try extremely hard not to like the fashion choices of little fifteen year olds. Point in case: Miley Cyrus. (I hate her/dislike her strongly). However, Taylor Momsen has caught my attention. She dresses way too old for her age, seems like she has an attitude, is in a rock/pink band, and is on one of my guilty pleasure Gossip Girl. So, sorry. I dig her sometimes. Do we like this look? She is seen here rocking two different outfits. She is super skinny, but it works for her. Yes? 

P.S. Is that a TAT i spot on her left  wrist (our right)? DUDE, if it is, she is SUPER young for a tat. But to each her own?

Okay so I don’t really know if these two are actually a couple. They may have just met five secs before the light flashed, however in my mind I will think otherwise. I dig the floral with the men’s inspired black blazer. I dig his whole fit; not a lot of men can get away with wearing a tank without looking like a hoodlum or a queen. (Queens, rock on). Dope?

Okay. We all know Rihanna has a kick ass stylist and that Princes RiRi has been “cutting edge” on the fashion tip for a minute now. However, I don’t consider silver pasties cutting edge, I call it on the edge of slutting. LOLs. I hope her stylist hasn’t gone postal and decided to turn Rihanna into Lil’ Kim. Rihanna: stick to your Balmain jackets and Jeremy Scott hoodies, hunny. I get the whole experimentation thing, but pasties in public are never fashionable. Just ask Janet Jackson.

SO: DOPE or NOPE? I vote NOPE ten times over.

Not all of us can afford sailboats and/or yachts; some of use aren’t ”on a boat, bitch.” Therefore, wearing the nautical look well is all we have. I really like this whole look. The pearls, the bow, the stripes; they all really work to make nautical magic.

I haven’t posted on this chica in un minuto, aka a few days. People love her and I have to give the people what they want, no? I think she is beautiful but her style is purely average. She needs to hit up Rihanna’s stylist for the inside style scoop on the down low. These shoes are a disappointment to me. They look like they’re Candies (sorry if you love them). So you decide…DOPE or NOPE!?

There’s nothing like partying when you still have your braces. Or, as with the guy on the left, I’m guessing, you JUST got them off like, today.So go ahead, show those newly-straightened pearly whites. Flash your newly-straightened toothses. So I was visiting campus for a few days to get some rec letters and application business figured out. I happened to step into an organic-local-juice-smoothie-sandwich-wraps type of place, and I spotted these two. Some people just look like they belong side by side, no? And I dig: the Converse and the long hair. And I dig: the nerd chic glasses.

I was extremely random, and I asked them if I could take a quick photo. They looked at me crazy, but I don’t care cause I got a great shot.
