Photography of the Day: Aaron Feaver’s “Feaverish Photography”

I have been a fan of the work of L.A.-based photographer Aaron Feaver for awhile, but I hadn’t re-visited his portfolio site in months. What I like most are his wide shots, where the subjects seem like such delicate, tiny parts of this sublime whole. He also captures a certain intimacy of the women in his pictures while they’re in bed; it’s odd, because for me, many “in bed” pictures look so staged. We as viewers know the model stripped and laid down, and that the photographer probably rumpled the sheets a little and mussied up the girls’ hair. But in these pictures, the subjects seem so comfortable…I almost believe they were sleeping just minutes before. Enjoy some of his pictures. Check out even more work on his blog.
