Is it TRUE!? – Lanvin's Alber Elbaz to Take Over Chanel?

Apparently, it has been known for quite some time that Chanel’s beloved designer Karl Lagerfeld will not be renewing his contract when it expires, and that Lanvin designer Alber Elbaz is going to replace Unkle Karl as the man-behind-the-magic at Chanel.

What do we think? Do we find this tragic or triumphant? After all, Lanvin has had quite a successful run the past few seasons, and doesn’t look to be stopping anytime soon, but is Elbaz a better fit for Chanel than Lagerfeld?
