Freja Beha for Vogue UK – "Cyber Tribe" by Josh Olins
As we know, everything digital is taking over everything, well, not. 3D is the newest craze, with 3D home television sets already being sold and people lining up to see the latest 3D movies. I think someday (soon), even our clothes will become “three dimensional,” with patterns and characters popping out of the fabrics. Then, there will be no need to seek constant entertainment if the person next to you on the L train has a shirt that’s giving you googly eyes.
Anyway, excuse my lucid fantasies and focus in on this extraordinary editorial that takes advantage of spring’s most inventive patterns, which almost do seem to jump off the body and attack your eyes. But in a good way. Freja Beha is one of my favorite models right now; something about her look just works in any themed editorial, whether she be in lace, spikes, or this seasons most eye-popping patterns by the likes of Versace and Alexander McQueen.
Enjoy.
